JessieLast week I wrote you about the running competition, what happened, my impressions and some informations about how the competition was taking place.

After giving you my point of view , I will let my colleagues express themselves. This is their feedback and some explanations about their task during the running competition of Sunday :

Jessie

Luca and Alejandro"Last Sunday was really surprising for me. In a population of 60.000 people, they manage to assemble 13.000 runners for a popular race. Also to emphasize that great people were breathing to the runners from the streets or from the windows. Much says it of the Hungarians. On the other hand, it was a nice race around Kaposvár, and we could enjoy its views."

"I really enjoyed yesterday's event . First of all, because I love outdoors and sport. Secondly, thanks to my colleagues helping in the refreshing points , I could experience how much important and complex can be the organization of such kind of events .This will be very useful if I have to organize similar events in future."

Melike"I was in refresh point I gave chocolate to runners. People were very eager to take part in this organization. Kids, adults, older people joined Vivicitta Running Competition. It was very nice day in Kaposvar because there were lots of people on streets. I hadn't attended this kind of competition before. We saw closely how it was organized and luckily I took part in this organization."

Elia"I helped the staff at the refresh point giving snacks and water to the runners. It was important for us to be there because we had the chance to see directly how this kind of things are organised and lead so the next time we could do our job better or take others tasks with more responsibility."

(and he took the pictures , as we can see , so thank you Elia!)

Robert"Well, my job was to keep the bystanders out the marked space which was going to be used for the race participants who were going to end the race in that point and got their chocolate water and snacks. But of course they ware over 13.000 people and so we had to keep the spot clear by asking runners to keep on going, so everyone have place.
For me it was cool, and i was shocked when i saw even 3 year old kids, to old mans in wheelchair. So this really proved me how much Vivicitta Futás Verseny means to local Hungarians.
I hope that I will be able to take part of it again next year."

Ani"It was a great day because arrived a lot of people in Kaposvar ( finally!). People went out to enjoy their time with their children, friends and neighbours . We, Compass volunteers were trying to help organizers: as for me I was sharing snacks. Some of us were running. In short we enjoyed our time."

"Well... I worked at the refresh point, for giving chocolate, water and snack to runners. It was very crowded day. This day 13.200 people ran with their children and dogs. It was very funny day for me. I am happy to take part in this computation."
