Rakes and Dustpans of Freedom

Saturday 16th, on early morning (10am on Saturday it's early morning), a brave team of Compass volunteers went to Arany tér to join some other citizens for the cleaning-day.After few moments of disorientation they took the instruments of the job (plastic gloves, deep bags, rakes and dustpans) and attacked the enemies.

There was no escape for little pieces of wood, misgrowed grass and for the worst of them: the rubbish.

At the beginning the whole team work for defeating the rubbish on right side of the road. When it was almost perfectly clean, some braves moved to the left side. Unfortunately the rubbish was  hiding in the bushes and the brave volunteers fell in many pit falls set by the enemy. On the other side of the road the main part of the team heard the SOS of their fellows and suddenly they jumped on the other side to help them. It was a great battle but at the end the left side was clear and secure too. After only a couple of hours all the area around Arany tér was completely clean and the volunteers had a deserved relax with home-made pogácsa and fröcs.
